I've been living in Canberra since the end of 1974 and in my time here I have been witness to so many changes, some good some bad. Buildings that once stood as landmarks and meeting places no longer exist, or have been renovated beyond recognition.

There is no real difference between my story and that of anyone who has lived most of their life in any city around the world. Crime, Poverty, Affluence, Homelessness and other varying degrees of social standing mix together in a blur as most peoples lives speed by, without noticing the continuous of hustle and bustle going on around them.

Just like any city Canberra has it's ups and downs, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's the place I wish to raise my children, and the place I wish to grow old.

The purpose of this page is to give you, the Internet traveller, the chance to learn something of this city that I call home - Canberra. Through the text and pictures contained within the sites I'll link you to I hope that you'll come to appreciate, just a little, the beauty of the Australian National Capital.
